Chelsea vs AC Milan (UCL 2022/23)
Chelsea are still looking for their first Champions League win of the season at the third time of asking as they welcome AC Milan to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues currently sit in last place after suffering defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia before a stalemate against RB Salzburg in Graham Potter’s first game in charge. If Chelsea are to progress from Group E, they need to start picking up points before a larger gap opens.
Meanwhile, AC Milan are currently sitting at the top of the table after earning a win and draw in their Champions League group games to date. The Italian side have only lost once this season, and sit in 5th in the Serie A table after a respectable start to the season.
But a growing injury crisis is giving manager Stefano Pioli trouble, and the Rossoneri could have up to nine players out of the game against Chelsea.
